Driven by passion for Scandinavian homeware, Nordic Designs was created in 2004 by Swedish born Cecilia Holden. 

“Living without Mairo’s divine designs and homeware was not an option for me when I moved to Australia. Therefore I contacted Mairo regarding distribution and then formed Nordic Designs.

Pearls For Girls jewellery was added to the range in 2010, a dynamic success brand created by designer Ulrika Fosshagen. A wide range of Pearls For Girls collection is available in our store and online , and also with selected stockists all around Australia.

Our latest addition 2011 is Farg & Form Sweden, a fun and funky homeware range featuring their special trademarked MOZ, showing Sweden's most loved and unique animal, the Moose (also known as the Elk).

As we like to keep busy, we have also become the Victorian agent for Swedish fashion label Koola Anna. In 2012 we plan to expand our agency to more exciting Swedish fashion brands.

Nordic Designs chooses carefully what brands to offer. Quality is absolute key in from the products we supply as well as the service we receive and offer in return. The relationship with our suppliers and the relationship with our customers is very important. Nordic Designs supply to boutiques and interior designers in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2007 Nordic Designs retail store opened in Wonthaggi, Victoria. With a total Scandinavian feel and look, you will find all Nordic Designs imports as well as other exquisite brands such as Danish Skagen rings and watches. In addition we often source products directly from designers in Scandinavia to our retail store in Wonthaggi. These products are therefore not available anywhere else in Australia.
